With Google Maps and Google Earth you can explore the whole world from your home. To express this better nearly the whole world. Because Google hide information and photos which are related to the US security.
For this reason Google blurs buildings and areas or changes satellite images with older photos. For example the roof of the White House was reworked to hide security installments. In particular aerials from the US army are censored, but also buildings for energy supply, like nuclear plants cannot be located. These security issues are explained with terror prevention. The question is: Is the US preferred to other countries?
