I’ve tried to redesign my blog a little bit, so that it looks similar to my homepage. The design is based on the K2 Wordpress template. I hope you like it. It has some handy features, for example to switch from three columns to two columns if the browser width is not big enough. Also the navigation bar on the top of the side is very handy.

FH Web 2.0 Award

The Carinthian University of Applied Sciences has introduced a Web 2.0 Social Media Award, where Blogs, Video- and Photoportals could be presented.

I applied with this blog for the contest and was affirmatively surprised that I won a great price. I was honored with the 2nd place at the FH Summertime 2008 event.

I’d like to seize the change and thank the Jury which consits of Markus Lipp (GF Kleine Zeitung DIGITAL), Markus Miklautsch (EDV-ART), Petra Antenreiter (PR/Marketing FH Kärnten), Christian Müller (GF Webwerk), Ed Wohlfahrt (PR und Social-Media-Berater), Karin Stefitz (FH Kärnten). Additional congratulations to the other two winners of the Award.

With this entry I have reached by 100th post. I relanched the blog in Jannuary 2008 and try to write 1 post per day. First this was only an experiment, but it’s really great to see that people are interested in these kind of Information. I focus on current topics about Geoinformation in particular about the Geoweb and Location Based Service.

I hope I can improve writing qualitative posts. Help me improving this blog and give Feedback, Suggestions or Critisim.

Hello Blogreaders,

now I have a new web URL for my blog. I hope this will be the last URL change. I changed to have everything in regard of my homepage on one domain. From now on all blog entries can be seen at www.joesonic.com/blog. As blogging system I use Wordpress.
